Mulberry & More

The bag craze has us spinning among hobos, flaps, shoulders, totes and satchels - and we're happy to report we know the difference!

Today, designer tees are as popular as jeans, yet there's no doubt it's the bag that makes the look. Whether hobo or satchel, women love a practical hangbag with loads of compartments.

Telegraph.fashion in its article Bag a look and carry it off, cites Alexandra Shulman, editor of Vogue explaining that "[i]nvesting in a bag is an economical entry point into a label." She says, "You can spend more than £1,000 on a Chloé dress and wear it five or six times. But a Chloé bag costs half that amount and you can carry it every day for six months."

So here's the deal: bags have more staying power than clothing - you may only be able to wear a dress a few times but a bag you can carry hundreds. Now that's practical.

Tassle bags add flow to dresses and sway nicely with skirts. Here's a favorite (more to come) that will add a touch of color to this spring's neutral pallette.
